Year of Prayer
There is no greater thing that believers in God can do than to pray. Prayer is not meditation or passive reflection; it is direct address to God. It is the communication of the human soul with the Lord who created the soul. Prayer is the primary way for the believer in Jesus Christ to communicate his emotions and desires with God and to fellowship with God.
As a church, we want the heartbeat of all who call St. Andrews International Church home to see prayer as a central component in their walk with God. In order to help facilitate this, we want to provide a weekly prayer guide to use throughout the year.
The following document is a tool that we are offering to those who wish to join us. Use this as a way to help center our thoughts and prayers on Him and what Scripture teaches. Make it a part of your family devotionals and prayers. Keep praying, seeking, and knocking so that with one voice we can cry out to God that all we want at the end of the day is Him!
One of the promises of God is:
"For where two or three are gathered together in my name, I am there among them." Matthew 18:20
Let us beseech the throne of grace offering our praise and requests, for He alone is worthy and able.
